In 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2006 he is asked by the “Vondelkerk festival ensemble” (formed by musicians of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and soloists such as Vera Beths, Anner Bijlsma, Han de Vries and Joep Terwey, amongst others) to arrange and conduct works of Mtro. Astor Piazzolla.

In November 2001 he conducts his own adaptations at the opening of the exhibition “ja ik wil”, held at the “Nieuwe kerk” church in Amsterdam in presence of Crown Prince Willem Alexander and Máxima , due to their Royal Wedding.

After having written arrangements and adaptations for distinctive groups of musicians, he specialises in works of Mtro. Astor Piazzolla.

Motivated by his performance during the Vondelkerk festival, from 2002 onwards he decides to concentrate on adaptations for classical ensembles (flute, oboe, 2 clarinets, 2 horns, bassoon, 2 violins, 2 violas, 2 cellos, contra bass, piano and percussion). These are adaptations of works by Piazzolla whose scores (the original arrangements) supposedly have been lost. A high percentage of the original arrangements are not for sale or for rent at the publishing houses. Some of these adaptations include: “Los Poseídos”, “Introducción al ángel”, “Fuga 9”, “Pulsación N° 2” , “Lo que vendrá”, “La calle 92”, “Nonino” etc.
